Woah. I've only just caught up on this thread. What an unnecessary shitstorm it is. I appreciate people rallying around long standing members getting (unnecessary?) stick.

I hope now that the op has enough people on his ignore list now to not feel a need to aggravate people.

This is a forum, and while the first reply to the post didn't give the answer that the op wanted, I personally don't feel it warranted the reply it then received. You will always, always, always get comments on a thread that although may not directly answer a specific question, they do give people's opinions on the subject. This to me is one of the great things about the forum.

Now, what to do with this thread?... [emoji848][emoji20][emoji52]

Cheers @tobywonkanobi - I agree. The thing we all have to remember here is respect. Us mods hate you all the same, we have no preferences - apart from @MrTeaTime, everyone hates him just a little bit more because he is special like that*. Whatever we think of people and no matter how much we call each other fuck face or arse dribble or nonce or badger toucher in jest please remember that personal insults will not be tolerated, and this is whether it is starting the confrontation or responding to a perceived slight. Keep it real people, no hate please. I got a call I need to be shortly for a couple of hours but I will be contacting those who lost their shit here and need a stronger reminder of the rules of engagement.

*Love you all really, especially you MTT ;)

What the ... Right, that's it. Ignore list for you.

I might give that a go but they're very concentrated, just a few drops to a 30ml bottle of juice so it would be difficult to use in smaller amounts. What I'm really trying to find out is whether colour loss is a common thing or I'm just using a rubbish brand.

Back on topic.. you clearly haven't got an answer.. why not try some different brands and see whtehr they are better .. and let us know.

As an aside.. I simply use different coloured drip tips to distinguish my many tanks.. maybe that could be an alternative solution if you can't find colours that don't fade.

Hope this helps :-)

I doubt very much that long term stability is a necessary requirement for food colourings. I've mixed Heisenberg with other, uncoloured flavourings and found that it turns green within a couple of weeks. Unless you find a brand that claims to be colour fast it's probably a waste of time chopping and changing. Personally, I wouldn't bother, it's not a feature of a juice that I value.

There are coloured juices that have passed the TRPR regs and continue to be sold with colourings ... Heisenberg and Red Astaire are just two examples. Whilst the TRPR states an objective to ban ingredients like colourings, the small print says it's ok if it's a very small consituent and doesn't adversely impact the emissions. This implies that a little colouring does not pose a health problem for vapers. I really wonder if that is evidence based or just an assumption.

Says colour blind in your text not monochromatic, so who's the numpty now

You should really make sure your information is correct...................

Types of Colour Blindness (from colourblindawareness.org)
Anomalous Trichromacy
Dichromacy
Protanopia
Deuteranopes
Tritanopes
Monochromacy

So these are all sub categories of the affliction known as "colour blindness" contrary to your comment that monochromatic is effectively a different thing.

"so who's the numpty now" well I now consider that you have now upgraded yourself to being a double numpty !!!!!!!!
Do you want to borrow a spade ? as you seem intent on digging a hole for yourself................

Are we really STILL bickering on here? [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

ahhh bollocks, looks like I am a double numpty and I need a spade to dig a really big hole.....silly me, seems I must apologise for wrongly correcting what I thought was a misleading statement

If you had stated they were monochromatically colour blind then I wouldn't have been bothered one little bit
