Coming off of cigarettes, need a tighter MTL draw to what my current vape offers

Hi,

First post here. Looking to get some vape suggestions.

I just got a Nevoks Feelin Pod yesterday after seeing some reviews that were quite favourable and stated that it gave a good MTL experience. Although it has quenched my urge for a cigarette today, I find the MTL draw is just not tight enough, even with the tighter 1 ohm coil, and even blocking the airflow holes with tape. So I was wondering if I could get some suggestions on small pod vape with a cigarette tight draw.

I am from the UK, but I'm living abroad at the moment and my options are more limited to what seems to be available in the UK. Some options that I'm considering:

Univapo Miso C
Vaporesso Xross Mini
Uwell Popreel (one reviewer said it was a very tight MTL experience)

Or, the Aspire Vilter, which I hear has a very cigarette like tightness, but it's a bit tall compared to the others. So if there are other more traditional looking vapes with a similarly tight draw, I'd prefer that.

Also, I'm looking for something more stick shaped than square shaped.

Thanks for any suggestions!

I cant comment on specific pods but I would look at one that has variable airflow control so you can at least restrict the airflow to suit your draw requirements. I'm using the Innokin Sceptre tube at the moment which has airflow control and can restrict to a tight MTL draw.

Hi @rdog and welcome to the planet. Pleased to make your acquaintance.

@DeeDee aka (Pod Queen) is definitely the one to talk too about this, but I can chip in a little.

The Miso-C probably isn't tight enough for what you're looking for and neither is the Sceptre tube. Most of the mainstream stuff won't be, and most reviewers of have a loose definition of what constitutes an MTL anyway.

If you really do want something cigarette like, your best bet is going to be the Aspire Vilter almost certainly.

But if you fancy something else, the tightest MTL vape I've had this year on a pod has been the VOOPOO Doric 20. It genuinely is a cheek puckering vape. I'd happily recommend that to you.

Thanks everyone.

I should add I have actually had previous vaping experience about 3 or so years ago. Using a Juul and then a Smok Nord IIRC. But then I got back into smoking again. Not sure why, but probably vaping wasn't quite satisfying enough. And I remember hating leaking pods and spitting which the Nord suffered from.

But from my experience so far with the Nevoks Feelin, it seems like pod vapes have come a long way since I last tried them.

Yeah, it seems that most vapers definition of a tight MTL are no where near as tight as a real cigarette is. Perhaps they've been vaping for so long, and with those bigger DTL devices, that anything even slightly restricted seems very tight to them.

I did look at the Doric 20, can't remember why I dismissed it TBH. I think maybe because it was ever so slightly too big and heavy. But knowing it is a true tight MTL, I'll add it back on my list. Thanks for the suggestion. Cheek puckering is exactly what I want!

Oh, and I forgot to mention that it ideally needs to have auto-draw.

Im another x1 for the vilter ...... the draw is fantastic and obviously has the advantage of the filter drip tip ..... great device

If you're after a cigarette style vape, what about the reflex? Costs a bit more than the aspire, but it's probably as cigarette-like as you're going to get.

Is that the Evolv Reflex?
