Thanks OccultScientist is not a major issue but I have lost a few post due to it congrats on the new server also if you ever need any hosting space let me know I have a few TB's going on a tier one server

Only if you have cookies saved & I do not.

The site seems to log me out every ten mins logging back in isn't an issue (remember me ticked or not) I have Encrypted auto fill with my Norton 360 programme. But I / We as it is also an issue for @Vaper TrainFD just don't get why the session time out is so low on POTV



Edit: just to make clear I clear Cookies every time I shut my browser so that is not affecting my session time outs it only happens with POTV & no other vBulletin forum

Yep every 10 mins is automatic due to security reasons. You need to use the Remember Me or not lost activity for 10 mins.
If you aren't enabling the cookies, the only way to prevent the auto logout would be for us to disable it completely.


But then again I suppose it can be raised. But what about people who use public terminals and such?

Most public places don't store cookies either or they shouldn't be put it that way That said I wouldn't be happy entering any details in to a public computer of any kind but that is just me

Thank you for the reply KulrMeStoopid & I fully appreciate you even looking into it for me Like I say its not a big deal but I do tend to sit here sometime write a reply go away do something & then lose the reply that is the only reason I asked but if it cant be done or if you feel it will slacken the forums security leave as is its not a big deal just thought id mention it
