Coolfire lV making loud crackling/popping sound.

Hi. As the thread title says, it pops quite alarmingly, and I'm wondering whether I'm doing something wrong. Not quite sure how I can be, but is this a normal thing with vaping or should I be concerned? Or is there some way to stop it?

Hi mate, I take it you mean the tank not the actual mod? Often a tanks coil will do that if you have the wattage a bit too low to vapourise the liquid in contact with the wire or mesh. The older ones with wire that was more common, mesh no where near as bad. Some will give a pop or two if the tank has sat for a while and get a touch oversaturated. What tank do you have?
If though by any chance your actual mod is making noises, stop using it now.

Cheers for that. I'm pretty sure it's the tank. I'll try turning the voltage up then, as I actually turned it down thinking that might work. Thanks.

No worries, the odd pop isn't a concern generally. The coils or the box they come in should have a recommended wattage range on them as a rule of thumb to go by. Good luck with it mate.
