The UK cant even/ wont sort out legislation for electric scooters, pathetic. Public transport is an expensive and unreliable disgrace. The wealthiest 1 per cent of people in the UK each produce 11 times the amount of carbon emissions of someone in the poorest half of the population, go figure.....

Yes, they are trying to price the average person off the road, remember how many cycle lanes overnight appeared, whilst roads were blocked off during the last 2 years? And congestion charges in major cities, then for me locally car parking prices in town have massively gone up. And the price of diesel was always lower as an incentive for us to buy diesel cars, not any more. The last narrative was to buy electric, no road tax, but they have now announced 165 quid tax on them (plus the fact they are not environmentally better, resources used etc, its better to keep a 15 year car on the road etc.) but, it does not affect them as they all claim expenses!!!! grrrrrrrrrrr so angry at the supposed democratic government we have :(
