If enough ppl with houseboats floated into international waters and lashed themselves together could u declare yourself a seperate country?

I dont like any of the present choices

From my understanding of the American constitution history.
Indeed you could, you could even stay where you live now, and declare it a "new state"
That is as long as you can sustain a civil war.

Personally I have always preferred the Confederate Flag.

I think it is cooler than our actual flag too and as fitting as that would be since i was born in northern virginia and that is actually the battle flag of the army of northern virginia, (it was so cool everyone else just started using it too), should probably avoid using that, altho it did look tight as hell on the general lee.

What do you mean avoid using it, you are supposed to be a rebel.
Spent quite a bit of time in Virginia, further down south though, Charlottesville.

Too much racist connotations, i prefer the pirate theme.

Wind your neck in mate. It's an announcement from Russia. It may or may not be true, but the announcement was made and has been widely reported. Do you really doubt the annoucement was made, or are you just enjoying yourself here?

Lol, we cool man, i love that flag too, its just how it is tho, its actually because of how distinct it is that it became the defacto symbol of racism and slavery. I would much rather have had it been reversed cuz i think the design of our flag is kinda lame, just how it worked out.

I kinda think the anti-tyranny pirate looking flag is pretty cool lookin too tho, i grew ip sailing, we r talking about a country made of boats lashed together, seems fitting.

Just because u like the Confederate flag doesnt mean i think u r racist, ithink u have a good eye for design, unfortunately that design just carries too much baggage with it at this time. 200 years ago, a pirate flag would cause the same kind of uproar
