Cracking coils.

I found an old kanger tank which I had bought a couple of years ago and devices to give it another try.Bought some kangertech 1.5 coils for it and filled it with 60pg vampire vape liquid.However all I get is a cracking sound from the coil,the juice is not burnt and tastes good,what's the problem?

If the mod is VV or VW (power can be adjusted) try increasing/decreasing until the popping stops. It's juice not evaporating completely & boiling on the coil.

How many watts are you running it at?
Some coils do crackle when running them in. I don't think is a problem as such.

It's only a pen type battery in using so can't change wattage etc.

Give the mod a flick, like flicking a fishing rod, to expel excess juice & failing that a bit of kitchen roll twisted small enough to poke down the chimney, gently, to soak up the juice. If the battery isn't fully charged it's likely not got enough power to heat the coil.

Must say i seem to be getting through more juice than usual,although the raspberry sorbet liquid is superb!

tbh ive not seen any kanger that fit in a pen type before.
