Cricket/Indestructable advice please.

In a moment of weakness I've bought a cricket, Indestructable combo (genuine). I've got a couple of brand new and genuine VTC5s that I've been keeping for just such an eventuality and a whole raft of pre made coils.
I've been running a series mosfet box that I built ages ago with a velocity on top and a couple of claptons and it's been doing sterling service.
The question is, best build for this setup?
Plain coils lots of turns, thick wire? Or something a bit more fancy. What are people getting the best results with?

For the Cricket I've been running the Double Vision with 2 verticals in series using plain, thick wire [0.7mm kanthal] for a 0.6ish resistance. Easy with the 2-post deck - bit tricky with the Indestructible. Found Jaybo's rda got too hot with a series build and required using the condensation trap/top airflow - which muted the flavour. Don't think they should be sold as a pairing really, but that's just my opinion - others may love it. Also been using the Aeronaut with a big single clapton at 0.6 - it's a bit noisy though

7 wrap 28g kanthal, 44g ni80 fused clapton around 2.5mm bit is my go to build at the minute.
