So no, I'm afraid your analogy was not correct. And not just because cyanide doesn't contain oxygen.

I actually meant a room full of cyanide gas, I'll be clearer next time.

So what do you think they mean by "Ecigarette's still contain nicotine"? I really don't see how, unless you're on a wind up, this discussion has come this far. Fortunately, I like a nice discussion, especially when we are on the same side.

Their meaning is not conjecture, they are clearly stating that they are not allowing vaping because vapour contains nicotine. As exhaled nicotine is not harmful, it is a crass comment and an ignorant reaction to something they clearly do not understand, and the smug nature of the comment, compounded by the grammatical error, has really got my back up.

They are now on my banned list, together with all railways and airlines.

Had the sign said "Smoking and vaping is banned in this establishment" They would not be featuring on the Call to Action. Vapers In Power supports the right of individuals to decide whether vaping is permitted on their property (though we reserve the right to attempt to educate). The reason they are on the Call to Action is that they are promulgating a belief that smoking and vaping are the same thing and equally dangerous, and for doing it in such an obnoxious way. Calling an e-cigarette a "cigarette in disguise" is factually inaccurate and facetious.

Well, on a broad spectrum, taking this thread, and others similar, the only thing I'm getting from the entire anti vaping debacle, is that something as mundane as vaping has been allowed to take away time and resources from Real Health Issues, that are effecting Real People and using excess time and resources to campaign about fictitious health issues that MIGHT effect faceless people on social media sites.
"Hey Doctor Smith, yes, I know that you and your laboratory colleagues are very close to finding a cure for Hodgkin's Lymphoma, but you'll have to stop your research, we need you all to concentrate on helping to convince the world that vapour is the New Ebola!"
Farcical? Yes, but the money has to be coming from somewhere.
I'm joking about it, but the reality is that it's happening, and it's both immoral and disgusting.

They are stating that, but I wonder if it's because they're shit at brackets . Perhaps that bit is meant to be read before "please take it outside". Putting any sentiments about the message aside, it's poorly written.

How can you expect others the respect e-cig users if the sead users have no respect for them :6:

I have no problems not vaping inside someone establishment if they do not wish me to.

Not every one like to inhale/smell vapor or smoke and you should respect that.

With today's sub ohm this sub ohm that :D 2 or 3 vaping soon turn a room into a seen from the FOG :p

You could could rent your self out to nigh clubs as a low cost fog machine:18:

And it's not just the fog............I went back outside the other day, 10 minutes after I'd been out there vaping and could smell Powwow Sauce in the air.

I understand where you are coming from but I'm sure that the vast majority of vapers do have the utmost respect for others. The lack of respect is for the unfactual and, often, over dramatic reasons given.
If an establishment decides to stop vaping on it's premises for no other reason at all other than "we just don't want it" I can see most vapers simply manning up and respecting that decision, it's only when an establishment tries to justify it's "ban" with the current load of anti vaping hearsay that vapers get their backs up and feel the affront.

I've received a response from Haven...

Due to recent feedback regarding this, we are in the process of changing all signs. I would like to apologise for any offence caused due to this.
