CTA: Thank you, Haven, Signatures

You mean you did not bring that up.
Surely it will not survive proof reading for a second time.

Since I'm not entirely sure whether it's E cigarette or e-cigarette or light sabre I thought it best to remain punctuation free in the privacy of my own home.

Looks like there have been quite a few replies, it might be a fairly minor point of principle, but it is the way things like this are being used to gradually build a picture in people's heads equating vaping with the dangers of smoking that will eventually pave the way for a ban.

And I must admit it was quite fun, I managed to call them obnoxious and facetious, and even managed to fit in the word conflating :D

I just did number 1 on this weeks list, as always we try and make the first one a nice easy one every one can do. Here is what I wrote.

I read about your excellent decision with regards to the regulation of vaping (No ban on e-cigarettes in English pubs after Wales reveals plan), and I would just like to say THANK YOU.
I am a vaper and I have now been smoke free for over a year after picking up an ecig on a whim. I firmly believe that had harsh regulations on vaping been in existence I would never have done so, and I would still be smoking.

I'm sorry but I am going to have to have my say in all this and I think many of you seem to have missed it entirely. I have no issue with any company putting in place bans on anything that might be a health issue to all but what I get really upset about is that they try to insist that we go and vape in the designated smoking area. I have smoked since I was 13 years old, I am 5 months into vaping having totally given up smoking. I do not vape tobacco flavours. To be told I have to go and stand in amoungst the smokers sickens me and I will not do it. Any company that sticks to this policy will be totally avoided by me. Anyway, rant over, sorry.

Agreed, it is one of the things I am pretty rabid about. To start with I am fairly sure you could take such a company to court and win. The purpose of the law behind smoking shelters is to protect non smokers from being exposed to second-hand smoke. I'm somewhat disappointed that no one has so far tried.

The social media page for Haven, has well exploded with vapers.

I was contemplating having a break away with Haven, however they can now go forth and multiply.

I think the Haven campaign which has been going on for a week, the CTA just added to it, shows that when we act together we can effect change.
Changing a sign might not be a huge concession, but it is a step in the right direction. I am wondering if we can take it further. Personally I don't have an issue with them having bars that are vape free, they have the right to decide that, but I have heard suggestions that the accommodation is vape free, can anyone confirm that?
