This is the issue with this thread.
Everyone having their two penneth worth is doing so based on information they have gathered form many different sources.
Much of the information is conflicting which is adding to the varying opinions on here as to what actually happened and what was actually said.

Your post for instance contains information that is wrong based on the first 6.15 of this video.

but he does say he didn't go for child care reasons towards the end.

He contradicts himself more than once in his version of events fella, thats another problem with the version he told the country. He says one thing and then completely dismisses it later on.
