Custom box mod

No, he was a superb Slide Player whom also owned some beautiful Gear. Built his own Pedals, now you can see why I wondered? :)

Well, I do make my own pedals... but I can't play slide for shit.

I actually tried slide again during the first lockdown because I thought it might keep me amused, but my hands don't cooperate with that at all. :D

I even strung my tele up with 13's because I thought that might help. :D

@Arawn1975!
Well as everyone else derails stuff wholesale I rather thought I might try it myself, :12:

@Simon G :) The trick is actually in the Right Hand. ;)

That's proper nice...

I remember him doing a little dual 18350 with variable voltage on one of those little voltage wheels (sorry my mind has gone blank with what those are called) and a little LCD voltage display... it would have been perfect for a little MTL box.
Yeah like most people he's moved on as he's gotten better with his craft, but i've seen pictures of those wooden box mods that you mentioned in his gallery and their simplicity is their beauty. The mod i posted had the innards of a pico chip, screen etc with the wattage up/down buttons hidden under the base.

Hmm,in the interest of clarity i own 2 Fynemods both bespoke and definitely not off the shelf.I would concede that Vapesmarter is a true craftsman but in the interest of giving the OP a choice i suggested Fynemods.
He's free to pick either or neither it's a personal choice.
Unless off course you dislike the Scots...

What?. a Scot who's not as tight as a ducks arse lol. The reason for my post is to point out that there is no need to spend as much for a custom made mod. The whole "high end, bespoke" crap are hipster terms used to disguise the word overpriced.
Of course the OP can make his own choice, but 99 times out of hundred folks want something affordable. I bet my 5 VS mods cost me less than 2 fine mods. The daft thing is we buy mods for their looks, this is daft really, as smokers no one wanted a different shaped or coloured fag, or one that the filter lights up each drag besides no one looks at their mod while vaping it. For me everything is about affordability. So i could say my post was to save folks money, which with todays climate is a factor for most folks.

I'd say that both mods were under £780 easy,i can't really remember but my other one had double tubes and extra engraving and a DNA 75C chip so cost the most out of the pair.

I get what you're saying @crustyfolker , I really do, but surely choice still has a place in people's minds? Yes I know that many here will completely disagree with choices I have made with which Mods I chose to purchase, but equally, there are a few whom also like them.
I also completely understand your motivations when you make posts such as these and I am sure we all appreciate your thought processes, but I for one still enjoy what I now have. I KNOW I could potentially have saved myself a lot of money if I had gone down the usual routes and certainly would have done so if I had purchased far more from China, but I chose not to. My fault (If it is seen as a fault?) but I do enjoy individuality and that extends into my hobby.

Another good point about when we were smokers though :) I often wonder which brand of smoke would have required the equivalent of 80+ watts to make it enjoyable? :)
