Yeah unfortunately that’s how they come mate for a couple of reasons:

To get into the blank at the angles needed to cut the button off you almost waste a tips worth of material making one.

The buttons also take longer than a tip, thanks to the little nipple on the back of them and the recess surrounding it. Seems better value to offer them as the set than charging what I’d want to make just a button tbh.

If it weren’t for the nipple on the back of the button I could make them for peanuts [emoji23]
