@erdodog - here is a very rough template that I have made this morning, I’m not sure if this is the style you’re after or the right size or anything but I’d love to hear your thoughts on it. We can then make a custom one to your requirements

*this isn’t polished so excuse the machine marks, I couldn’t get a double oring on there either, the tools I have are either too thin or too fat. With just one oring on there it’s very secure, you really have to yank it and twist to take it off/put it on.

If you need a genuine Entheon cap I could probably send one over Lee. Although I’d imagine the clone one is identical.

Not always, I'm a good friend of a popular tip maker and all his tips are gauged off authentics, he's sent tips out in the past and be told the tip is way to tight then found out the customer has a clone. This isn't always the case and maybe rare but he does state that if you have a clone then ordering a tip it's a risk you take coz sizes may have slight variations but usually if that's the case a thicker or thinner oring will solve it

Will do mate! Yeah I have thought about it, although I haven’t tried to make any yet so I won’t promise anything until I have tried! I’m far from a pro at all this, it’s just a bit of a hobby

For a hobby looking at your work and reading feedback I'd say your doing your hobby well. As long as your measurement are bang on with a bit of practice on cheaper materials I'd say you'd accomplish a perfect sleeve in no time and when you do I have 2 Subzero X waiting

Thanks mate! I think a metal lathe would be better suited to making a sleeve, il have to see if I can pick one up at some point!

Slightly bevel it in a little at the top? No worries.

How about the height of the tip compared to the template, this one is ever so slightly shorter than the sample you sent me.

And the colour... is much lighter once it’s been turned, I wouldn’t say it’s the same as the door you’re after matching now. It’s almost clear with a slight yellow/green tint. Do you want to pick another blank?
