Okay, so I got the shock of my life the other day when my Dad said to me: "I'd like to try one of those rebuildable tanks like yours when all these coils are used up. I'm tired of buying them, it'd be so much easier to warp my own. You can show me how can't you?".
Franckly I thought the day would never come and it's made me a happy bunny that I won't have to keep finding him coils he may or may not like anymore.
Although this leaves me with a problem...
Now I have to find him a tank he likes, an RTA suitable for a seventy year old that he can rebuild by himself. I'll often be heling out but he seems to be excited about the prospect of building his own.
So, I'm looking for some suggestions for a pensioner's first RTA.
The criteria is simple: I.E the simpler the better, MTL, large and basic that's easy to wick and won't leak, gurgle or spit. I don't want to put him off before he's tried.
The holely grail would be 24mm, top-fill, top-air-flow with large flat, non-GTA style deck, large flat-headded clamp-down post screws and plenty of access to the coil. He'd also like more than 2ml capacity if possible.
Like I said, the easier the better.
Trouble is I can't think of anything that's like this and was wondering if any of you guys know of anything close or that may fit the bill instead. All I'm coming up with is a KF clone with a top-fill kit but I'm not sure he'd like that idea.
None of the criteria are set in stone so I know I'm going to have to comprimise on something - probably the size or the top-air-flow - but the ease of build is pretty much set in stone. He won't stand too much fiddling.
I'll probably start him off on my Berseker to see how he gets on with it and then and move him on from there.
On another note, he's now vaping Dr.Vapes 'Pink', and that's something else I never thought I'd see. We live in changing times my friends.
Luv and best wishes to all.
