I window steep all my Capellas, it seems to speed it up a hell of a lot. By the end of the first day it will turn the colour of your first photo. I don't do it with other brands but it really seems to work for these

I've been window steeping my capella vanilla custard for a while and it does work, after only a day it turns from pale yellow to a lovely amber colour and it cuts the steeping time in half too!
