%difference between mtl and dtl tank designs

...... just to add, I posted the vid for info - it was a while back so chances of getting one in the UK these days might be small! :D

FFS, they don't even have them at Fasttech.... this is the single biggest thing that pisses me off about vaping, if it wasn't new in the last few months you're fucked.

I know, and as I've been skint for the last year I feel completely out of the loop! :D

Still might help @WalterMelon understand what he needs though - theres bound to be something similar and more up-to-date. :)

China doesn't understand true mtl so several mtl tanks are really very loose mtl or are actually better suited to restricted dl.

Advken Manta mtl rta
Wasp nano mtl rta
Wasp nano rta
Steamcrave aromamizer lite rta

All spring to mind for extremely loose mtl and comfortably capable of restricted dl.

Of these four i would definitely recommend the Manta mtl rta (the original though). You won't get an mtl vape out of it but it's brilliant for rdl [emoji1303]

Agreed. Was the first one to pop in to my head (although I could get the loosest of mtl draws ever with the right build and airflow completely shut off). Excellent for rdl. I've still got one somewhere. The 2.0 is actually a really nice mtl rta with several airflow settings.

Wow, that's a lot of replies!

I don't think many/any people vape like I do, I let vapor drift into my mouth for over 5seconds, let it swirl around, then blow it out, most of it doesn't get to my throat, almost none to my lungs. (Pointless... I know)

Any amount of draw pressure is ruining that effect.

In my experience, restricted direct lung are usually tight with a lot of could production, as opposed to very loose but a small amount of cloud production. While Loose MTL really means its Loose "for a" MTL tank, still tighter than a restricted DL.

As far as the style of tanks you're all suggesting, the nearest thing I've found the Damn Vape Freesia, it's a hybrid MTL/DTL, it can have a huge open intake, but all of the air still passes though a tube in the 510 pin. I don't have a frame of reference if its a lot or a little. It seems like it would be looser than most MTL/ RDL tanks.

I was thinking the regular nano rta might do the trick if I add longer chimney. It's so tiny, literally can't hold a lot of air to begin with. It will get very hot but it cheap enough to be worth trying.

Aromamizer lite reviews make it sound like its a great mtl and very tight restricted lung, not ideal, and locally cost as much as the other 3 tanks combined, I'm weary of spending so much to find out.
