%difference between mtl and dtl tank designs

Wow, that's a lot of replies!

I don't think many/any people vape like I do, I let vapor drift into my mouth for over 5seconds, let it swirl around, then blow it out, most of it doesn't get to my throat, almost none to my lungs. (Pointless... I know)

Any amount of draw pressure is ruining that effect.

In my experience, restricted direct lung are usually tight with a lot of could production, as opposed to very loose but a small amount of cloud production. While Loose MTL really means its Loose "for a" MTL tank, still tighter than a restricted DL.

As far as the style of tanks you're all suggesting, the nearest thing I've found the Damn Vape Freesia, it's a hybrid MTL/DTL, it can have a huge open intake, but all of the air still passes though a tube in the 510 pin. I don't have a frame of reference if its a lot or a little. It seems like it would be looser than most MTL/ RDL tanks.

Have a look at this and see if it helps:

Lots of good suggestions already, but just to add another one have a look at the Gata RTA by QP Designs. I think it's on sale on the QP Designs site at the moment as well.

Ok gata as it's easy to order (ty)

I need one more tank for my element vape shipping minimum so how about very Loose MTL/RDL tank (something looser than the ares 2) any opinions on:
Hellvape Vertex/Hallvape MD, Wasp Nano MTL, intake mtl?

From that list I've only tried the Intake MTL. It's decent but wouldn't have it in my top 5. Lots of airflow options and flavour is ok, but reverse threaded screws are weird and mine whistles quite a bit. It's better as an MTL tank than restricted DL as well IMO so might not be a good fit

Freesia arrived over a week ago. It is a F****ing night mare to get the coil on. But it vapes perfectly.

With the airflow wide open and the wide top, vapor leaves the tank without any suction needed.

Dtl design will have a larger volume of air, mtl will be squeezed, and have a higher velocity airflow arrangement, is my view.
