It also sizzles for half a second after finishing taking a pull

Your build looks good to me. Wicks are nice and wet, coil looks good...erm I'm at a loss with this one.

Is that a new coil and wick on the deck or have you been using that build? Just it doesn't seem to have any signs of burning juice. I take it you settled the coil first by dry burning it to get rid of hotspots and any residual machine oil!?

Yeah it was a new coil and wick as of last night

Too much cotton perhaps? It would still be wet given that in order to empty I had to tilt it to get juice out? I'm going to try another wick

Thunderbirds are go! Used less cotton, same length

It's back to being a genuinely close contender to my favourite tank, along with the Rose V3
