Right guys, I'm so confused so any help would be great!

So, I purchased 6mg of 80/20 VGPG premixed Nicotine Base from TMBNOTES and a few concentrates from DarkStar. I want 80/20 VGPG so I thought all I would have to do is just add the flavour? But I was looking at the ingredients on the concentrates and it says that PG is added so if i'm adding 20% flavour does that mean my end product is 60/40VGPG? or am I being stupid here? Should I just add 10% flavour to get 70/30VGPG (i'm happy with that ratio)

I have no idea, I've just totally confused myself so if anyone could explain to me in the simplest way possible I'd be very grateful.

Hi, basically you have to allow for your flavour concentrates make up in the final calculation of your vg/pg ratio. So if for example i am making a total of 100ml of e liquid and i use 20ml of concentrate that is pg based and say 5ml of 72mg pg based nicotine, to give me a nicotine level of 3.6mg and then add 75ml of vg to make it up to 100ml , then the vg/pg ratio of my final 100ml of e liquid would be 75 vg 25pg e.g. 75/25.

The best thing for you to do is use the mixing calculator on here (look above at the tab that says e liquid recipes and you will find it there under the "create a recipe" tab there). You can then enter all the relevant vg / pg and nic ratios you are using and your concentrates quantities etc and it will calculate it all for you.

Hope that helps. ATB
