Hi all i have been vapeing a JustFog MAXI stater kit for about 3 weeks now, and it is great so far, (i have not had a stinky in for 16 days) although i get inconsistent flavor hits (same juice). I have tried a iclear 16 tank on it but i can not seem to get any oomph, out of it. my atomizer in the JustFog is about 2.2 ohms, and was told that the iclear is about 1.5 ohms, my battery is a 650mah ego type.

After reading reviews and post about how good these devices are, would this help me maintain a consistent flavor hit ? I am looking at the Sigelei Zmax Telescopic V4 Kit for £75.00 from Alba Vapours, or would it be a waste of money.

I hope this make sense to some of you out there as i am a complete :noob:

Thanks in advance

You might want to try a lower ohm atty on the Ego first. You'll usually need to up the power to drive a 2.2 ohm coil, much more than something like a 1.5-1.8 ohm coil.
Then, if it's not for you try a VV Device.

Yep vv/vw will maintain the consistency your after, the sigelei zmax telescope is a brilliant bit of kit, I have one lol, the vamo does pretty much the same thing for a lot less money but its not so pretty :D

The consistant flavour depends on the clearomizer. Changing the voltage will make a difference to the taste but the appearance and the price of the battery make no difference.
4.2 V from an Ego type battery is no different than one from a provari. The lavatubes can be varied in steps of 0.1V and the cheap one will step about 0.5V. Increasing the voltage by 0.1 or 0.2 would not make any noticeable difference, so jumping from 3.7v to 4.2v on a cheap battery is not bad.
The expensive unit looks good, makes you feel good using it, you can buy higher rating batteries, replace batteries and it will have some functions that you might occasionally or never use.

my first vv mod was a lava tube going from a ego battery the lava tubes are a great mod ive had mine over 3 months now dropped it loads of times and just still keeps going. But now looking to get a ego twist vv or a vision spinner vv or even a innokin itaste vv.

Quick update, thanks for all the advice, In the end i could not wait and went and picked up the Z-Max Telescopic Kit from Alba Vapours, and wow what a difference :D

I'm in pretty much the same boat as you-I have an 808 version of the twist. I have mini novas on mine (vision ones) and the problem I'm having is if I switch to a Lower-That's right a Lower ohm head the vape seems to be thinner??? With 2.8 or 3.2 heads at 4.2v it's like vaping sweet treacle and I Love it :-) Also the lower ohm ones give a hotter & drier vape that I'm not too keen on. Could it be down to the wicks? the higher ohm ones have 1 thick one but when you get to 2.4 & below they have 4 thinner ones. I was looking at getting the zmax tele in a couple of weeks, will I get the vape I crave with it???
cheers :-)

Hi Stevie, well i am still a bit of a noob to vaping, but i have come to the conclusion that your vape depends on the juice you are using and how much power you apply to your atomiser. I am vaping a vodka and lime 60PG/40VG and is quite a thin liquid, and a lemon Meringue Pie at 50VG/50PG both 18mg with a 2.0 ohm attie for the LMP i vape at 5.0 watts and the VL at 1.8 ohm attie at 6.5 watts. I have found this gives me the best hit, and this seems to be the advantage of a VW device, and because it uses a larger battery you can maintain a consistent power output over a longer time. i have tanks that have one small top wick and other with long 4 wick system but supplying the correct amount of power helps maintain the consistent amount of vapour production.</SPAN></SPAN>

I can highly recommend my Z-max, looks great works great, I got mine from Alba Vapours (other VV/VW device available) I am getting the consistent hit I was looking for, you may need to change the VW to get the same hit depending on what juice you are using at the time but it takes seconds to find out the best settings that works for you. took me a day to get it right. </SPAN></SPAN>

I may be wrong with my opinions and there are great people on this site that have greater experience than I do, but all I can say is " Dam it Works" and I have would not even consider a "stinky" again, hell "did I really smell that bad"</SPAN></SPAN>
