Yup, you'll notice changes more and more as time goes by .
Tobacco tastes absolutely awful to me now and when a smoker passes buy, christ you know it lol. you can smell it a mile away. A lot of the lads and lasses I spent a lot of time with when I was in the military pretty much all smoked, more smoked than didn't. I often wonder how non-smokers actually wanted to be anywhere near smokers socially lol. We used to reek of tobacco smoke. People that use rolling tobacco seem to be worse too lol. I don't know if it's just worse to me now because I'm an ex smoker or what, because I can't remember smokers smelling like that before I started smoking lol.
I haven't turned into an anti smoking Nazi like some ex smokers do lol. Some friends still smoke and I don't have a problem with that, it's their choice and thanks to vaping smelling the smoke doesn't bother me for giving me cravings etc. The nicotine is being replaced and it's been long enough for me now and cravings stopped after about 1 week vaping anyway .
I have no plans to quit vaping . I've beaten the tobacco but just not ready to give up nicotine yet lol. I'll keep vaping for as long as I need to and I'm happy with that, the risks are low enough .
I agree with pretty much all of this. It surprises me too, when I walk past someone smoking, it literally seems hard to breath, just that bit of 2nd hand smoke. And it makes you wonder why on earth you smoked for years
And yeah I have no plans to quit vaping either. I really like it, and I don't see any significant health risks at all, especially at the < 1ml of liquid a day I vape at low wattages. I'd feel a bit uneasy about vaping huge amounts at really high wattages, as that does taste harsh and kind of burnt to me, but it still has to be miles better than smoking.
It's pretty annoying the level of ignorance that exists with vaping, scaremongering and TPD trying to give it a bad name. I neighbour came up to me the other day while I was vaping outside and said "That's as bad as smoking you know". I was like "Er, no it really isn't" I told her about Farsalino's research showing levels of toxins literally hundreds of times less than cigarettes, but I forgot to mention the fact that the core ingredients are used in astham inhalers, and to purify air in hospitals etc
