Do you like real custard, but don't enjoy vaping it?

Give the Cupcake world vanilla custard a shot. I've tried loads of custards in the past and they all use Capella VC... which I really hate. This however, is really pleasant. It's almost candy-like with some sort of nuttiness. It's cheap as well.

love custard, hate custard juice. same with chocolate and many other desserts.
would rather have a real custard donut that vape phantom ones!

prefer my fruits, menthols licorice and anise based vapes, though in RL im not a great fruit lover but do love licorice .

Would never even dream of vaping bacon , marmite or chesse but could quite happily live off them every day .

tobacco flavours i wont vape either.. gave up the stinkies why would i want to replicate there taste

Yep, Capella and Grant's taste like cheap packet custard. CCW actually tastes like real custard, although one member on here reckons it tastes like soil.

I've just cracked open a 4 month steeped bottle and have another year's supply steeping.

They make me feel really unwell. I can tell it's base is Capella from a mile off. Which is annoying as I actually love custard.

Soil? Nah.

Have you tried M+S Madagascan Vanilla Custard with Channel Island's milk? It's the nicest thing that has ever existed. I polished off 2 pots in one sitting once.

I think I have? I've definitely had the Waitrose equivalent of that, I did drink a few pots of it. Which is really unhealthy, but it's so damn good.

I had a pre mix from c9, a vanilla custard made by Mystic which was quite nice and pleasant, although if any of the vape went up my nose while puffing it completely changed the taste to not so pleasant.

Does it really take as long as 3 0r 4 months to steap a custard properly? Or will 4 weeks be ok?

I've got a few test samples on the go but they're only young (about 2 weeks), a T.P.A vanilla custard, a K.H. (Kandi Hed) crazy creamy custard, and a K.H. normal custard that I added vanilla flavour.
Tried all these in a small dripper and they all taste pretty rank, the T.P.A one is by far the grossest of the 3. . . almost spewed after the first vape. :puke:

The K.H. normal custard (30 drops) with vanilla (10 drops) 10ml sample, I can see some potential in once its steeped a fair bit longer, it ain't too bad as it is. All of these have a distinct nutty flavor to them. . . last time I checked there's no nuts in custard, or will that go away after they've steeped for a lot longer?

Cheers for the heads up on CCW, might give that a go if these testers don't work out! :D

If you don't like custards fresh, then the longer they steep the better. I can't taste anything in a fresh custard and leave them for at least 2 months. I don't know how long it would take for them to turn bad though.

I found some Goose Juice that's at least 8 months old and it's improved greatly. Another year and it might be vapeable.

The nutty taste is probably your taste bud's interpretation of something in the mix that may well go away in time. As you have a dripper it will be easy to try them every few weeks and find your sweet point.

Cheers, yep you just confirmed that patience is needed to allow those custards to mellow out for quite a while longer, I'll just forget about them for now (apart from their daily shaking routine) and try them again in 3 weeks or so along with all the other desert/creamy concoctions and adjust as necessary.

Funnily enough most if not all the creamy samples I've made so far all seem to have a nutty taste to them, (according to my taste buds). It seems to be more amplified when the vape gets in the nasal cavity, hopefully with a lot more steeping that will disappear.. . If it doesn't I'll get the clothes pegs out. :11:
