Doomsday Supply Of Nicotine

i bought a 5L VG one time and it sat half empty in a cupboard during the summer and went off. I didn't notice until i'd added a it to a large batch mix of 1L where small mold bits rose to the surface and screwed the entire batch, which was the last lot of flavouring i had at that time. proper gutted i was. Ever since then i always try and squeeze the air out of a 5L container of VG and do the lid back up like that which seems to have worked since.

What brand/flavour baccy is your go to out of interest?

I split my vg and pg into 1l or 0,5l bottles and it lives in the freezer with bottles being used living in the fridge along with my flavours. Never had a problem with anything going off yet.

Baccy flavours I mainly use are at the moment Dark Star Golden virginia,Cuban cigar, AM4A. RY4, cubano, Dk tobacco. I have bits and bobs of other baccy flavours.

I gave up on recipes a couple of years ago a typical mix for me will be 3 or four baccy flavours with or without a bit of fruit or coffee or rum and fruit. I mix 100ml batches in a cylinder leaving the last few ml for flavour I then just bung in flavours based on whether I want the baccy lighter or darker, whether I want a dominant flavour and what background notes I want and can I use some of my older flavours. No two mixes are the same.Though they sre all based on similar principles.

Yeah I never had the time to muck about creating recipies or even following them (after an early forray of doing so) Interesting to note that you tweak your mix each time so you have different flavour profiles going on. I used to enjoy the process of mixing it all but like rewicking it's just another chore that has to be done evey while now. I tend to knock up 1L of custard, cake mixer it, if ican be bothered i'll warm it up as well which also speeds the steeping as does the mechanical mixing. Then i'll forget about it for however many weeks. Which is the sweestest tasting baccy out of the ones you listed? (sweetest as in the dictionary definition, not the slang definition)

Good shout with putting the unused VG in the freezer, no room in mine, full of Nicotine, tukey twizzlers, chicken nuggets and potato waffles :)

Still got 3L pre tpd nic left, mostly buy Red Astaire concentrate for my MTL tanks, FA custard premium, inw custard, inw biscuit, cap sugar cookie v1 100ml a go for my DTL custard recipe.

I use RY4 for a sweeter baccy, Or Tobacco Dolce from justflavours (not on my list but in my box)
I tend to mix 3x 100ml batches when I need them. A normall sweeter baccy would be some golden virginia some RY4 and some AM4A I might add a little passion fruit (I use it for a general fruity sweetness). That to me would be a decent mix though I would add some cuban cigar to balance it in the opposite direction.

If the mix above was one of my three mixes then another would be darker, based round DK tobacco or drum and might have something like coffee or blackjack. The third would be fruity with or without rum.

One of the best creams out there imo, pees all over the flv one, batch reliant though, some are better than others. I have enough for ages, strong stuff, you can puke a blend if you're not careful, been there :18:
It was your good self and @Mr Ripple that recommended it to me in another mixing thread here, thanks.

Kept cool in glass and still fine! :)2

Just a friendly tip mate but I would get what you have left there into a smaller glass bottle so there’s less oxygen to degrade it. It’s normally the last few ml that goes bad because of it. Hope you didn’t mind me saying mate.

No don't mind at all, it's a 250ml bottle and I'm going to be mixing 1.5L in the next couple of days, and what remains I'll rebottle as it will then sit for a while.
This is the oldest in my collection most is only 4/5 years old :)

Still got about 4ltrs of 72mg nic from before the TPD dropped. All in amber glass bottles and kept in a small dedicated freezer. I only take out 250ml at a time as needed, and it's as good as the day it went in. There's likely a small drop in it's strength, but nothing i have noticed, and will happily do me until i pop my clogs.

Interested to know of recommendations for a small dedicated freezer for my pretties :)

At the moment they are grappling with fish fingers and bags of peas etc. Would be nice to get them upright again like they were before we moved a couple of years back and no longer have spare freezer capacity
