Dovpo Blotto - Leakage

The juices are the same PG%, right? Doesn't seem to make must sense it would flood with one & not the other

Yeah i can understand your frustration, you buy an expensive RTA you want it right, i seem to remember another post where someone was having a similar problem with the Blotto, can't remember the outcome but if i come across it again i will link it for you .

Your wicking looks a little loose in my opinion. That would coincide with the crackling sound you’re getting

to me it looks like youve not got enough wick through the middle of the coils, if the wick is too loose it will just suck up juice into the deck and flood it then back out the airflow.
try wicking it a bit thicker and dont comb out the cotton too much, just fluff it up

Yeh I'm new to rebuilding as well, so my technique is far from perfect, but I figured if it was a wicking issue then it would have been leaking from day one.

The reality is it only starts leaking when I empty out the tank and try to replace it with a different liquid. Proper frustrating.
Odd you should mention that. Mine pisses juice, till I vape on it, every time I fill the fcukin (well it is a Vaping Bogan item) thing. I've tried masses of wicking ideas and it's always the same.
If I pop off the deck and play with the wicking, it stops,
till I fill it again.
I know the gurgling, I've heard it, is down to a flooded deck. But why the heck the wicking goes wrong with every juice change, totally stumps me.

Read somewhere on the forum that the warm weather makes the juice more runny, don't know how true it is but could it be that ?

Yep, it's very true, warmer juice gets more runny, colder juice thickens up, go & stick a bottle in the fridge for half hour to see :D

All fluids (from water to ejuices) get lower viscosity (are more runny) at higher temperature.

But the effect of higher ambient temperature on ejuice viscosity must be negligible.

After 10 puffs or so, just feel your tank/coil: it will have heated up considerably and inevitably. My VandyVape Pyro dual Clapton becomes almost too hot to touch at 50W after a while!

So if there is an effect on juice runniness, it's more likely to be from coil/tank temperature.

Theres a problem if your tank is heating up.
Warm maybe but anything more than warm and theres something wrong somewhere.
@LordOdin is right the melting point of VG is 17.8 °C and anything below is technically classed as a solid so below 17.8 °C VG becomes extremely thick and will play a huge part on wicking.
