Dripping on Mesh

Does anyone here know if dripping onto SS mesh would work and be a decent thing?? I'm currently using cotton and although I don't mind replacing the cotton once in a while. It would be nice to not have to. So does anyone have any experience dripping with mesh or should it just stick to a mod with a tank??

Dunno about these days, but 'back in the day' dripping onto mesh was all you could do, and that worked for folks, so I see no reason why it wouldn't give a successful vape using the new fangled stuff especially if you made yourself a heath robinson bridge type build.

Depends on what juice your vaping

When I first received my Origen v2, I build a "standard" dual microcoil with cotton wicks.
To my surprise I was none to impressed with the vape.
After much head scratching, I pulled out the cotton wicks and threw in a pair of SS mesh wicks
That really made the difference. Having said that, I find that SS mesh works brilliantly with
tobacco or coffee flavoured juices. With fruit or dessert flavoured juices, stick with cotton or silica

If you decide to have a go at building a SS mesh wick, gives us a shout and I'll give you some pointers

use ribbon kanthal in all my current builds.
nice focussed flavours IMHO stealthvape 1mm x 0.1mm is my weapon of choice

hmmmmm .....

before you you start messing about with different types of wire
here is something to think about ....
can you build a wick and coil consistently to a standard that your happy with ? if not why complicate things by messing around with
different types/sizes of wire. same thing can apply to different wicking materials.
i have a box full of different types of wire in various sizes and also
a shit load of different types of wicking material that are just sitting there unused .... total waste.

Get your primary build sussed out first before you start experimenting around with different wire or wicks

Just for shits and giggles.....
try a ribbon over voodoowool build on the origen
very reminiscent of mesh build IMO
crisp flavour

i used to wrap mesh around silica for a time. you could maybe get some cotton wool yarn and try something similar.

Ive got plenty of cotton and a decent length of silica left from previous building although I'm almost out of kanthal that's why I ask. Im going to need more soon and i was wondering if ribbon was worth a try.
Right now I'm using a 4 wrap braided 28g kanthal nano coil in my Igo L works very well but has to be pulse fired or it will melt haha the last one did [x
