Good blog, and I particularly like the bit about using common sense. It is something that many people seem to lack at the best of times. He is giving us the information and it is up to us to use it in a sensible, measured fashion (without hysterics or overblown dramatics).

Well rather him than anybody else if that is a role that's needed. Also, he is a consultant cardiologist, if he was chasing the money, he'd just need to move to the USA and do a few bypasses..

That may well be the case but if he is angling for the job whilst researching stuff that will make vaping safer for all of us then I don't have a problem with that. Making noise under the illusion of being on our side is a very different matter (especially when financial motivation seems to be an important factor!).

What about when crimping (or whatever the proper word is) coils then? You can't do it without heating them and it makes them neater and heat more evenly.
