Is it me, I'm sure the first time I looked at that article they showed him holding a burnt out mech

Yeah I'm pretty sure first time I clicked he was holding either a battery or a mech that had incinerated. It's a tough one, can't give these articles attention as they're all coming from journalists who have no clue and no accountability for what they write but it's obvious that many people don't actually have the knowledge they need to stay safe. SMH

I had to have stern words with my mother who has been staying with me for a few weeks, she "tidied up" and threw two fully charged 18650's into my fruit bowl... the fruit bowl with the pliers, wire cutters, screwdrivers, spools of wire and packs of cotton... showed her a video of an 18650 venting and she went white. She doesn't touch my batteries anymore.

this sort of thing doesn't help how vaping is perceived by the public at all. Also shame on the mirror for putting a scaremongering story out there.
