YOU NEED TO READ THIS LETTER AND EMAIL SCHULZ immediately asking him to ignore TVECAs letter and stand your ground that they do not speak for vapers!

Ask for a Split and Vote on Article 18 of the TPD.

TVECA mailed MEPs just before the last vote asserting that they spoke for vapers and all of the vaping companies and AGREEING to Article 18 in the TPD as it stands.

No more than 10 ml bottles, no more than 2 ml tanks and NO 2nd or 3rd gen devices. Leaving ONLY ciga likes.

Dear Mr. Schulz,
I have previously written to express my issues with the good work of the TPD being undermined due to passing a hastily and badly drawn up section regarding electronic cigarettes. Simply, to address the issue again the TPD should pass with the exclusion of electronic cigarettes which need regulation on their own to incorporate the pros and cons on them as a non tobacco product.

I now read that TVECA (or the tobacco generation 1 device alliance as we know they are) are pushing for you to continue to regulate as planned. TVECA do not speak for the ecig industry, they speak for tobacco companies who are wishing to corner the market with low powered gen. 1 devices. Their aims are corrupt and one sided at best.

I previously asked you to allow the right this, split voting on TPD and ecigs so that article 18 can be moved to its own legislation where scientific evidence can be submitted - this is more important than ever before. TVECA are not the ecig industry, many businesses have distanced themselves from this organisation, infact greater numbers have since signed a petition and statement to this effect than any of the supporters of TVECA can attest.

I ask this of you as a former smoker, someone whose children hang hope on ecigs being more readily available in the useful format that I choose - rather than forcing me back into topping up the bank balance of tobacco companies. Kind Regards Leigh Godson

We vapers in no way shape or form support the idiocy of the TVECA who are a bogus organization with no real interest in saving e cigarettes. I urge you to consider a split vote for article 18 of the TPD and in no way support or condone the actions of the TVECA
