There are so many people out there who listen to, radio, watch tv, read the papers, who are being lied to in the big world of e-cigs...We Really need to Educate them....

Below is a conversation I had on facebook with someone who i've known (on the net) for years....This is the first time that we've discussed the alternative to smoking, but he just can't see the differences....BRAINWASHED !!!

Steve Allen E cigarettes should only be used as an aid to stopping smoking. nicotine is a poison. E cigarettes are being pushed as a socially acceptable form of smoking! "Vaping" as these people are calling it is still "smoking" and the after effects are still not known properly. Nor of the effects of secondary inhalation. Offering flavoured capsules or whatever they are called is a cynical marketing ploy. These companies do not give a shit about your health! Sorry for the rant.....

Bobbi BikerGran White Vaping or E cigs, whatever, is NOT smoking! It doesn't have any of the dangerous products of combustion that make cigarettes so bad for you, and many doctors have said that it's preferable to smoking. Nicotine is a drug, yes, but it's no more a poison than many other drugs or indeed foods.


You can do what you like Steve but don't tell the rest of us what we should or shouldn't do!

Black Hack Most of us can research the benefits and the truth of the matter....I love fruit flavours, much nicer than tobacco flavours...And as to "Offering flavoured capsules or whatever they are called".???..at least try to look as if you know what your talking about...I make my own liquids....So, " a cynical marketing ploy" is completely wrong....Are you saying that grown up adults dont or cant like fruity flavours ???....I'd suggest you have a look here, where some of your wrong assumptions are disproved....http://stevevape.com/theres-antifreeze-em-e-cigarette.../




Steve Allen My Apologies to you both, if I have offended you. I can only go by what I have read, and reported on TV. Clearly there is a lot of misinformation being put about. I only voiced my opinion, and I still maintain that. I am an ex smoker, and have not had even a puff for 6 years. alright so we are meant to be the worst type of people to bleat on about giving up. I have no objection to you smoking, vaping or whatever. And What I have read here does not inspire me to change my mind!




I just give up on some people...Even when you give them facts, they still won't believe you.....

The media scaremongering to sell papers is getting out of control we need to tell people - I have been and a minority of the people I handed the leaflets to actually were willing to listen - they asked about the things they've seen and read (it's a gateway,it's more dangerous because we dont know what's in them) you know the script but I politely explained exactly what was in my juice vg,pg,nic,flavoring that's it they were shocked and one woman said I heard they had antifreeze in them - I said politely again no no the pg is a chemical base which is used in antifreeze but alone it poses no health threat much the same as some household chemicals are water based - after that she was quite receptive I gave her the efvi leaflet to take home and she asked me where they are available to buy so I wrote down the potv web address and the web address of a couple of reliable vendors and off she went to try and convince her son to get on the vape because she hates him smoking.

I had a similar conversation about 2 hours ago with some knob who's come into my store to do abit of work. He actually said and i quote "those things (ecigs/vape) are more dangerous then ciggys" I was stunned by this to be honest with you. I informed the guy how wrong he was and what they really are, he shut up and left haha winnnn
