EFest batteries

I have Efest similar like on the pic. I can vape at 50 watts (0.6 ohm or smth like that - big clapton coil) not really long - it barely holds big numbers. After 30% being used voltage drop is so significant i don't like to vape it at all. Luckily, it's my backup plan - i have VTC5 and LG HG2 both working perfectly. You can use them on regulated mods but give a bit more money and get yourself LG|Sony|Samsung battery

In all honesty do yourself a favour and bin yr efests(responsibly!)and get a couple of Samsung 25r's from fogstar,it's not gonna break the bank and you've peace of mind that the battery is all good[emoji106] plus he doesn't hang about posting them..super quick!!

Well, Efest batteries work (especially in regulated mods) but their capabilities are so plain compared to stadart Sony, Lg or Samsung. But no big *BOOM* or similar

Thanks for all the information everyone , I think I'm going to take your advice and keep them in there nice new case Can anybody tell me the BEST batteries I can buy for my t-priv please ? And will I need to buy a new charger ? Thanks again for all the advice , some of these vape shop staff are useless. I was recommended efest wtf lol

A quick google finds this (all words and pictures from Mooch aka Battery Mooch)

UPDATE: The Efest 35A 3000mAh exists in at least three versions! Because there wasn't enough confusion already...

It seems now that there are at least three versions of the Efest 35A 3000mAh battery available, maybe four! I'll try to sort them out....

1) The 20A battery that's been available for a while with the larger three-leg top cap (contact). This is the one I reviewed on Nov 5th and is most likely a Samsung 30Q. This one is still being sold and is a decent 20A battery that can be pulsed to 40A.

2) The 10A battery that just recently surfaced and that I just tested and posted about. It has the smaller three-leg top cap and skinnier legs. It is identical in appearance and performance to the LG MH1. I do not know how hard you can pulse it but its internal resistance is very high and that limits pulse performance.

3) A four-leg version with a large top cap. It might be an 20A LG HG2 but it could also be a 10A LG MJ1. It's too hard to tell with the pictures I've seen. I found out about this third version through /u/ferongr at ECR and a photo that Thorin13 at the e-kapnisma forum provided. Thanks to you both! Since then I have found at least a couple of posts from folks here in the US that have this four-leg version too. This one is still being sold.

4) A photo was posted of a fourth type of Efest 35A 3000mAh yesterday that looked like it had a top cap different from the above three. Unfortunately, I cannot find that photo now. If you have one of these Efests, it would be great if you could post a clear shot of the top. If the wrap was off too, that would be incredible as it makes determining which battery it is much easier. Thank you!

A couple of thoughts I want to express...

All this only applies to the 35A 3000mAh Efest! It has nothing to do with any other Efest batteries out there. If you have one of those other batteries, nothing has changed.

I do not hate Efest and my testing of the 10A version was most certainly not bullshit. The ones I tested were verified as authentic and are clearly 10-amp rated MH1's, in both appearance and performance. I don't care which battery you use. I do care whether you have the correct rating information for the batteries you do choose to buy though.

The 10A version of the Efest 35A 3000mAh will not burst into a fireball if you use at at high discharge current levels, above 10A. Its internal resistance is so high that its voltage will just plummet and you'll either quickly get a "low battery" message from your regulated mod or your mechanical/unregulated mod will seem to almost stop firing. This limits the temperature rise in the battery and keeps it from venting. Bad things could still happen if you short circuit this battery though.

If you have the 10A version of this battery, you can still use it at up to 30W-35W or so. No need to replace it if you vape at these power levels or lower.

If you have the four-leg version of this battery, unfortunately, I have no information for you yet. But if it's been working ok for you, and isn't getting hot, then it seems like it would be ok to continue using.

I'll post another update if I find out anything more. Here are the posts regarding this battery so far:

Any 20a cell from either Sony, Samsung or LG will be fine.

There isn't really a 'best' cell ..

Best for biggest capacity are the 3000mAh cells , Sony VTC6, Samsung 30Q, LG HG2

If you are running at high power a lot you may get overall longer life from a Sony VTC5A or a Samsung 25R

All the above will be safe (as will any cell over 20A by those brands)

As far as I know the efest chargers are fine and dandy.

They will take ages mate .... I don't count the hours when I charge but it kind of takes all evening.

I expect they are only unbalanced at the moment, once they are both charged fully they should be fine.
