For the spike, use a piece of rolled up mesh inside of the hole to feed your juice down to the wick...it works really well and is sooo much easier than trying to aim your wick in the right place (no puns) then screw it on.

Have you also given yours a little scrape with a knife on the outside casing.

They arent made of SS, they are coated.

After seeing this, I'm really glad I've spent abit more! It's a great idea to make cheap rebuildables to try but only if they fit properly great video.

I did yes and the body is coated. I also scraped the spike but that is fine. I posted images in the thread on this forum that was started about that topic.

It looks like it was a batch issue with the bent fitting. I wassent another and that was fine, also the vendor asked anyone who has a bent one (oooo errr) to be get in touch and he would replace it.
