eGo series confusion

I bought an e cig a few years ago and ditched it pretty quickly (unreliable, hurt my throat, not enough vapour etc). I currently smoke about 50gms of menthol tobacco (rollups) per week. I constantly have a cig on the go. And want to replace it completely with something safer. I'd like to use refillable units. But I'm not interested in fiddling & worrying about 100 tiny little parts.
I've researched & read reviews but I'm still confused about some of the changes & choices in these newer devices.

UPDATE I've come to my senses & am looking at the eGo series, (probably Janty as they are the originals) with the 900mah batteries. So I'd be really grateful for your insights, opinions & suggestions on which is best & why.

Thanks in advance to anyone bored enough to shed some light before I choose, I'm open to other suggestions too. I really feel lost with this. And I really appreciate all the help so far.

I use cartomisers with a tank called a DCT tank, so basicly the tank feeds the carto while u vape! So suppose it's kinda refill'n the carto.
A cartomiser will last anythin up to 2 weeks & u can buy packs of 5 cartos for £5 which is pretty good if u ask me.

i'd go with the evod kit from myepack

its got two batteries charger two refillable evod tanks and 5 spare coil heads for your tanks everything you need and myepack are a great vendor to buy from
you dont have to worry about lots of parts its just a case of holding the tank upside down unscrewing the bottom and filling up

Thats cool & weird I thought cartemisers were inferior to tanks so why combine them?

Now I've signed up on here (it'll let me search now) I keep hearing about eGo's (are these evod's rebranded ones or something else? They sound good!) apparently lots of people manufacturer them or rebrand them & there seem to be forum arguments all over the internet between people about which of these two companies Janty & Joyetech designed them first. So now I'm kind of discounting my choices in the first post. On the basis that loads of people on here keep talking about these eGo's. I don't know which brands are legit & which are copies though. Or which model eGo to get.

All advice gratefully accepted especially on these eGo's

Ego is the threads on the top the problem with jacvapour is they use 808 threads whereas egos use ego and 510 threads where there is more options for tanks and the like evods are kangertech brand and they're good I'd go with kanger if I was looking

Ok thanks for that. What system or systems do you/can you attach it to? Why do use/prefer that instead of a tank? Can you use it with the eGo ones?

U can use that on any battery with a 510 connection which the egos have

Yeah it's a 510 connection which is kinda universal thro battery's & mods. I use mine on a smoktech sid vv/vw mod. U cld use it on ego style battery. If that's wat u go 4 I'd also buy a beauty ring to cover the ego threads. Beauty rings cost about £1.99 from most venders that stock them.
