I agree about Ebay, after much googling (more) I've discovered that Janty are the originals. So I might get it from them direct in the Netherlands or an authorised reseller. I just don't know which model to get. They are quite pricey & I haven't a clue still about the tanky business part of the device.
I'm now looking at the Janty eGo Jets xl starter kit
http://eu.jantyworld.com/index.php?...=112&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=351&lang=en
& the Janty eGo Dual Coil
http://eu.jantyworld.com/index.php?...hop.browse&category_id=191&Itemid=351&lang=en

If any one has any opinions on these or on compatible (basic) tanky thingumy jigs for putting the e-liquid in feel free to share them. Or if you think I'm making a massive mistake with the starter kits free free to point out the error of my ways. :)

Also any ideas on best menthol e-liquid (I smoke Kendal mixed menthol tobacco)

+1 on the advice samwich has given you.
You won't go far wrong with this, it's a good brand and it's pretty much where most of us started off. :D

+1 for ninjaassassin and samwich's advice. I started on jacvapour vgo2 kit and while its a very good kit it's limiting as its not compatible with much else. My friend has a rok kit and loves it but I know others who have bought evod kit from myepack and its been a great kit for them.
As for the tanks, its always an estimate on how long they will last but most people I know who use tanks get a good life out of them and they're not that expensive to replace compared to what we all spent on fags.

carto tank on a hammer...i know you wont want the mod side of vaping just yet but the carto tanks are my go to every day...so simple and easy to use :)..just my view :)

Your best bet is probably an eGo style battery with a Clearomiser or Evod type tank, I'd certainly agree with Samwich et al that the MyEpack Evod kit is probably the best value and an excellent starter kit. It also has the advantage that you can attach the vast majority of tanks and atomiser types to the eGo battery unit, everything from the very cheapest Ce4 clearomisers to £100+ Rebuildable's will fit on there (bigger ones will look silly but work) and the Evod tanks are easy to use, easy to fill, easy to maintain and give good flavour and vapour for the price...

I appreciate all the suggestions very much, to be clear I've completely ditched the idea of getting the Rok or Jacvapour as I said earlier. I'm unable to edit the first post to make this clear. As I pointed out later in the thread everything is pointing towards the Janty eGos as being compatible & high quality.

I don't want a clone if possible. I've looked at the evod kit you've linked too but it has 650 batteries which based on what I've read & heard in video reviews is really not enough for a chain smoker like me. The Janty eGos I linked to have 900 batteries surely this would be better given my usage. I don't want to recharge lesser batteries multiple times a day & I don't want something that is weak. It will just put me back on tobacco.

Why are people thinking that the evod would be better for me, given my needs, than one of the two Janty eGos that I linked to? I don't understand, what is it about it that you consider superior?
