What's new

Ello people.

I read somewhere that you shouldn't use protected batteries in a Vamo. Is this right?

That's right :) The Vamo already has a PCB, that is why I recommend IMR 'safe chemistry' batteries rather than just unprotected :) and a trusted battery charger as the EU ones supplied in most kits, I personally wouldn't trust

If you want to read up more on batteries go here or more indepth here

Thanks again for all your help :)

and finally, lol. Is there any mix ratio of PG/VG I should be going for, or is it down to personal preference?

I would suggest experimenting if you are going to mix your own, or if you will be ordering from a vendor that offers different levels :)

PG is known to give throat hit - TH
VG is for the vapour created - VG, some companies mix with water and call it AG - Aquaeous Glycerine

The most known levels are 70PG / 30VG although many prefer a 50/50 mix, it is personal preference/experience

And I've finally ordered it. The Vamo, a couple of liquids, 2 of each types of battery, a nightcore i4 charger from Vapour Hut, and 3x Protank 2s and a couple more liquids from MyEpack.

Thanks again for all of your advice. I'm sure I would've ordered something wrong if it hadn't been for all of your help.

Welcome to the Planet Mate!!! I've just read your last post and was just about to say I got a Protank 2 off Myepack for £11.99 but as you've already sussed it I just put it on anyway for anyone who's interested!!!:welcome1:

Indeed, they seem to be the cheapest for a Protank 2 at £11,99. I ordered 3 of them and some liquid just to get free delivery. I think they were £15.99 from VapourHut.
