Emporium Vapour shop - Edinburgh

Empvap how far is the shop from the bus station in Edinburgh? ssssstevo tried explaining to me, but I'm terrible at directions... :P

Have a one hour layover there tomorrow morning on my way down to Leeds and wouldn't mind trying to pop in to pick up a couple of things. :)

I would worry that getting to and from us would not work into an hour and give you time to sample and choose MrDeseVaper. Especially on a Saturday, it can be hard, even for a taxi, to get through the town centre one end to the other in Edinburgh. We do regularly post out to customers all over the UK or if you are just a little patient for a few weeks more we will get the website up and running. Failing that if you have more than an hour on your return trip, then please do come in and spend some time.

The quickest way to get to the shop from Princess Street is to hop on a train from Waverly to Haymarket (one stop). Come out of the station, turn right then first right again (Dalry Road), cross over the road and take a bus. I think all of the buses continue along Dalry Road onto Gorgie Road as it is one very long continuous road. Ask them to let you off at the City Farm which is about 6 stops or so. Get off the bus there, look across the road and voila, we are there.

Alternatively if you message Lindsay Ross on our Facebook page; he is an Edinburgh City black cab driver, he can possibly give you a better indication of how fast it is possible to get you to and from the bus station. He may also be on duty today. He spends a lot of time in the shop so if he picked you up he would stay with you and take you back.

Good Luck and it will be nice to see you if you do make it today. Sons no 2 and 3 will be there to serve you and Freja the pup if she is not out on her walk.

Spent a lovely hour or so, chilling in the Emporium.
Met the lovely Empvap. She is a goddess ;)

Came away with a bright green Vision mini Nova ( Authentic Vision I might add )
and 20ml Vanilla e juice, which is lush :^*
The dog is lovely too.

Cya again soon

Hey Steve was nice to meet you and sorry I couldn't sit longer but as always the organised chaos is never organised.

If only you had stayed a little longer you would have seen the birth of a new flavour when a regular popped in with one of his American bottles and we had it cracked in less than 3 minutes.
He said it will save him a fortune !

Freja is now snoring under my desk, exhausted after a day of greeting every customer and nibbling on the odd jacket sleeve if they stand too long beside her.

I didn't even ask if you got a coffee.......sawree

Buttermint

Tastes like Murrymints

Was thinking of some names for it like:

Murphymint
Merrymint

Fills the dreary time whilst driving about like a loon

But looks like it might just be called Buttermint

Get Jaffa cakes on the go ;)

Or Cabana ( choc coconut cherry sweet from the 80s )
