Emptying a clearomizer? Yuck.

So I'm trying some RY4 samples, and for the first time I've come across a juice I really can't bear. Yuck, bleurgh, urk. I won't name names, because it's from a well-respected brand, so I'm sure it's just me. When I get around to reviewing it, I'll be a little more balanced than just pulling faces! However, is there some way to empty it out of the clearomizer (CE4) without having to vape the noxious stuff? I know it's not oil, but e-juice is thick in the same way, and I feel like if I just try to run water through, it'll go "Haha, foolish child! Did you think to defeat me with mere water?" and refuse to budge. I'll just dump the clearomizer if needs be, but I'd rather not because I'm a skinflint and payday on Friday looks a long way away from here (I've not got much kit yet).

By the way, I'm certain it's not down to a gunked-up coil or a dry wick or anything like that.

Vaping some Squid Ink now, like giving a kiddy a lollipop after they've had to go to the dentist!

open it up, rinse it out with warm water (no soap), if you have access to the wicks wash them thoroughly (squeeze any juice out of them), if the next tanks worth still tastes a bit funky, you can rinse it with vodka and then water, that will do the trick.

Just rinse everything under running water and then dry it out with paper towel. Then dry burn the head afterwards. If it's a strong tasting e-liquid then soak the whole lot in milton solution for a few hours, then rinse and dry as above.

When you say open it up, do you just mean take the mouthpiece off, or is there something else I can take off a CE4? Sorry, I'm a bit clueless.

You can unscrew the tank section on some CE4's and some also have heads you can unscrew and replace too, though there are approximately 36816372167481241 different varieties of CE4 so you might have one that you can only take the mouthpiece off from.

Not very helpful to the question, but if you do a lot of juice testing I suggest buying some 306 dripping atties and a 306 drip tip. Ideal setup for taste testing as it only holds 3-5 drops at a time, so worst case it can be rinsed out dry burn to clear the taste.

Or, don't rinse the tank out,vape it, then clean your mouth with vodka,rinse and repeat, by the time the tank is dry, you will be too pissed to care!
