I thought with 1ml trials, all RY4, I could more or less just top up the clearomiser when it went dry or was getting close to it and have a reasonable idea about the taste, say, halfway through the tank.

This particular one tasted of...sausages. Or mild-tasting, lightly spiced meat. Supposed to be a "smoke" element, maybe? I'm not sure what it was, but I hated it SO MUCH. These are 1ml samples, though, where they're in those little plastic things where you snip the tops off, so it's not even as though I can put them all into a "Well, if you're desperate" bottle.

I have one of these,officially labelled Diamond Mist Chocolate but even before I started adding other foul liquids to it,the chocolate tasted like cocoa powder suspended in meths. Now its used whenever I need to "bed-in" new stainless wicks after heating on the stove,or coils need quenched after shaping/heating etc. Whatever its touched then gets heated until its glowing brightly for a few minutes,to remove all traces as it possesses the ability to taint even the strongest flavour liquid.

I was chatting with the dude who sold me the chocolate & he said something about wanting to get home & mix it with orange,me being a huge fan of orange aero's I tried it.Result was so evil it made me gag.

I can't even explain how bad it tasted, I happily threw away the tank contents but stupidly tried diluting the other 3-4ml.

It took over 40ml of flavours to finally mask the burnt cocoa taste.

1 word.... MENTHOL.

Get yourself some menthol crystals from boots, dilute them down in some PG, chuck some in with the rank juices and it will destroy any flavor in the juice leaving just a very strong menthol.

If I happen to mix something I can't stand to vape it gets this treatment and sits in my "When a cold/sinus infection kills my nose" stockpile. Last week had a massive sinus infection, could barely breathe, dipped into this lot and within 5 minutes I was breathing normally again. Only down side was if I stopped vapeing it for too long it packed up again haha.

Thanks Tromain I'll remember that.
I think once Christmas is out the way I'm going to have a dabble into mixing so could do with an escape plan if ever a batch goes wrong.

It works just as well with premixed juices you buy, I do suggest you put in just a little of the menthol concentrate to start, and slowly add more testing the juice at each stage. First time I did it I chucked in 5mls of menthol thinking "fuck it, I want that taste GONE" vaped it and felt the back of my skull explode from the strength of the menthol.

Citrus, can I just say, that some people that may have smoked for 30 years+ (like me), find that they actually don't like the taste of tobacco, (like me). When it's not being incinerated in a fag. It's like marmite, marmalade and everything else, you either like it or you don't.
And if the first ry4 is rank to you, then there's a good chance the rest of the tobacco ones will as well.
