Nope, I'm not sure either, but I would still imagine as an 18+ dedicated vaping forum it would be exempt. If it was a Ford Focus fan boy forum, then even if it didn't (as a forum) fall under SM, it would obviously fall under "other media."

a few months ago there was only ban the disposables.
where the fuk has this all come from all of a sudden. this must have been prepared and written up months if not a year ago and they knew all along what they were going to throw at us.

this has always been there since tpd. you can look on ASA website at complaints upheld against vape companies going back a few years. mostly disposables but i think maybe vaporesso had one as well. but all re: tiktok and that kind of social media.

It looks the same as it did under the TPD legislation at the moment.

We spent quite a bit of cash on lawyers and a lot of time speak with the ASA to clarify what we could and couldn’t do. I hope they don’t move the goalposts yet again

We ARE counted as a specialist site and don’t come under social media if that helps. I think their primary concern has been TikTok and that where most recent violations have come from.

that’s good to hear. i guess they might just be stepping up their enforcement of this with the current youth vaping hysteria. hopefully nothing changes with the rules.

Should be ok on here as you need to join and seek out a product but that would mean as I see it the forum would need to be login only.
FB groups are the same, private and you need to join and seek out a specific product....that's my take on it

Doubt it, the bots will find it (public) not private and see all the ads n stuff...login they won't and the gaff is covered if they do sneak in.

the problem i have is i have no idea where i stand i make mods i show them on instagram but I do not promote or say the price i don't sell juice or do any of those things or even sell tanks
