MY OWN OPINIONS AS USUAL AND MINE ALONE PEOPLE

I purchased two of these from iVapour Toby) one stainless, the other, rubberised black and are available here
http://www.ivapour.co.uk/evod.html

Made by Kanger, the people who brought us the T3 and the MT3 (reviewed elsewhere on the site) which are well regarded. I find both of those to be excellent clearos giving good flavour, good throat hit and plenty of vapour. The bottom coils are replaceable and are reasonably priced. So when I saw these new eVod jobbies I ordered straightaway. Delivered at the speed of light as always.

So far I have found these to be EXCELLENT. Easily on a par with the other versions. Easy to fill. Quality performance and overall a damn fine Vape. I've slung some pretty claggy juices through it without any dry spots, or burning tastes. No wicking issues at all so far though it is early days. I think they look smart on an ego battery and the 1.8 Ohm coil works well with the standard voltage. I have used it at 4 volts too for an extra kick but its not really necessary.Slightly less capacity. As with the others the mouthpiece is fixed (you fill from the bottom)

I don't know if there are plans to stock other ohms coils but I do know that Toby plans to put together a eVod kit with a special ego battery which would match it (hope I haven't revealed any secrets here). Personally I think this would make a great starter kit.

One small issue is condensation. Its common to a lot of clearos, condensation in the mouthpiece. You can see it in the pictures. It forms there over time. It is easily absorbed with a bit of rolled up tissue and I've had no juice in gob moments.

Overall I'm impressed :)

Ive added some pics to compare to the larger T3 and MT3

These look good mark .. dot hey require an adaptor for a vamo ?

Yeah they do. They are not as wide as the T3s and so will appear to fit the Vamo but do not screw down

I had a bit of an issue today. One of them was gurgling quite a lot and wasn't producing the usual fine Vape. When I took it off the battery to give it a blow through I found it leaking quite badly through the connector. Puzzled I blew it out and found I was basically blowing the juice right out of the chamber. The ego connector was swimming in juice too. I gave it a good clean and vaped. First drag or two were ok but not right. Still gurgling. Something was up. I decided to take it apart and investigate. Coils are replaceable but surely not after only 5 or so refills?

Unlike the T3 the replacement part, the coil, does not constitute the whole base but is inserted into a separate base unit. See pictures showing the three sections.

I compared the coil I was using with a fresh one and saw the problem.

The coils have a knurled grip post which you use to screw them into the base section.
The coil in the problem unit had become unscrewed with use. I can only imagine with the action of refilling and twisting the base on and off the liquid chamber I had inadvertently loosened the coils connection to the base, thus allowing the juice to basically piss down and through the connector.

Relieved I tightened it, refilled and reconnected to the battery. Perfect Vape once more. Still liking these :)
Pics show a loose coil to base and a tight coil to base.

4th fill of the day, Grants Vanilla Custard x2, Redwood Banana Blend and now Vermillion Maplewood. Flavour change spot on each time. 6ml and counting today. About the same yesterday. If this continues to perform without issue Ill be a happy Vaper. Good clean taste. Chewy thick vapour. Best clearo I've tried. I'm meeting an Elites vapour for a pint on Wednesday and I think I have a recommendation for an upgrade ;)
The replaceable bottom coils are £1.50 each if you buy 5 which is reasonable by anyone's standards (£2.04 each when you add postage).

I have to totally agree with you mark, I had 2 delivered on Friday and they are absolutely brilliant.

I'm still new to this and have tried a few clearomisers already (innokin iclear, CE5, kanger t3 and mt3) and IMHO these evods stand head and shoulders above them all.

I hope kanger start making something along the size of a vivi nova as I think clearos look a bit strange on mods (I'm not ready to venture into the world of gennies yet)

These things are still performing for me. I get less gurgling with these than the T3s. I wondered about why that was. Having watched todds review here....

...I can see why.

Great review and he also shows how to rewick which he does in 6 minutes!

I have for the first time got a bloody decent coil set up on my AGA-T2 but for out and about these are pretty unbeatable for me.
