Evod Help please!

Sounds like the threads on the battery are slightly out.

This would go un-noticed with many tops, like the CE4s/CE5s, for example - as they connect via the inner 510 thread.

The evods use the outer eGo thread to connect.

I might be wrong, but I suspect that the outer threads on the battery are slightly out and this is causing them to sieze onto the evod when it is attached.

I have found the Evods bind a bit on my SVD which can be due to different types of metal coming together then getting heated or a slight difference in the pitch or depth of thread so I always use a very small amount of Noalox Anti-Oxidant Compound which prevents binding and oxidisation.

It's quite cheap, a tube lasts forever as you need so little, Liberty Flights sell it here:

If needed whilst waiting for delivery you could use the smallest smear of vaseline, with either it's a less is more situation. I use a cotton bud and rub it well into my threads avoiding the electrical contacts and found I can remove my Evods and T3's without opening them and wearing the last little bit of brown juice...

Thanks very much guys, much appreciated, just to let you know I got a refund on my battery and have replaced with evod batteries!
