I'm using an ego q battery and have an evod. The evod seems to be flooding the battery and it keeps spitting liquid.

I have a kanger t3 tank and that's fine on the same battery as is an iclear dc16.

The evod is brand new and filled. I haven't changed anything on it. I unscrewed the bottom to have a look and the tank dripped liquid out of the tip.

Is it just a bad tank?

At the moment I'll stick to the kkanger t3 or thhe dc 16s.

If you have a spare coil, I would change it. it sounds like you have a poor fitting o-ring/washer on the base of the original evod cartomiser coil, which sometimes happens and is normally solved by a change of coil

Have alook through this vid Chahu Sometimes replacing the top wick or if there is not one in there put one in, will stop too much juice going on to the coil. The rubber grommit which you will see @ 1.58 in the video sits on top of the center post can crimp up if the base is over tightened when re -assembling it all back together again. Just screw it back into the tank gently untill you feel a slight resistance. Another cause and the most common one of juice being drawn up through the evod misers is sucking on them too hard. When you go to take a draw on it, just fire it up first for a second or two whilst tilting the evod. Then once you are ready to take a vapeput it in your mouth, fire it up and leave it a second before gently sucking on it. Remember it is not like you would draw on a normal cigarette. If you suck too hard the seal which that top rubber gromit forms will not be able to hold the suction back and will let juice go up through.

Yup I agree had this issue with one of my protank heads just popped the cap off and laid a piece of 2mm wick across the slot and it cleared it right up I get better flavour too

Sent from my HTC One X using Planet of the Vapes mobile app

pm me your address, may have a protank coil or 300 laying around, lol. I will get you one in the post to see if that resolves the issue. I find the protank coil vapes better in an evod from my personal experience.

I would defo change the coil first to see how you get on with that. Sometimes I get leakage after a while too, after a coil change this usually stops.

If it still leaks, I would say its a faulty unit :(
