Hi Everyone,

I'm sorry if this has been covered before and also if I'm asking some dense questions but I'm hoping to catch the wisdom of many in one place.

I used to smoke rolled blue Drum tobacco with red Rizla and without any filter whatsoever.

What I'm looking for is the closest replacement to this in terms of a throat and lung 'hit' and also quantity of 'smoke' with also a relatively high nicotine content. I also want a substitute for the tobacco flavour.

I have invested in a vaporlite 16mg ecigarette (which I stumbled across in a pharmacy) which I've been pleasantly suprised by, but to my mind it goes down a bit like Silk Cut. How would I boost the overall experience?

I was wondering if anyone out there might advise on what products would be best to achieve this.

Appreciate the help!

Hi mate and welcome to the planet. Yes we have been asked before but we don't care. Friendly bunch of bananas you will find.
Most new Vapers want to replicate the size and flavour of a real fag. I did 2 and a half years ago ( 35 yrs a smoker). I've not tried a vapour lite. I'm guessing its what we might call a cigalike? Small battery? Looks like a straight?
Trust me there are much better bits of kit available. Bear in mind that the 'flavour' of smoked tobacco includes tar, carbon monoxide and a shed load of evil chemicals that Vaping will not reproduce. Saying that I love my tobacco eliquids .. More tobacco flavour than smoke flavour..
Ill leave it there for others to suggest starter kits..

You can get your self a Ego Twist starter Kit (http://www.leisureliquids.com/egotwistkit.html), which will allow you to adjust the power to the atomizer and help you find the perfect spot for your vaping experience.

There is also Blue Drum flavoured eliquids available from 12mg/ml strength to 24mg/ml strength http://www.leisureliquids.com/dksl%20drum.htm

Don't limit your self to one flavour though, try others, I'm sure you will find lots of flavours that you will enjoy even without any tobacco taste.

Jeez, where to start....

To get lots of vapour (the vaping alternative to smoke) you need lots of power. You will get this if you combine a variable voltage powerful battery with a low resistance device that holds and 'dispenses' an eliquid. A Vamo with a Vivi Nova would do this.

Throat hit is a function of several things including the eliquid itself - generally the higher the voltage/power you vape at the more of this you will get. Certain additives such a s caffeine and diablo loco can also increase these. I won't go into air hole positions on rebuildables as this will get too complex.

Flavourwise I know of nothing yet that comes anywhere near to Drum or Samson flavours. Marlboro - yup - B&H yup pretty much there and there are a few close approximations on the market/in development that are close to Golden Virginia. But Drum, nope. If you want cigars though - there are a lot of really good flavours.

For nicotine - the more vapour your device produces the more you can imbibe - a weedy look-alike will not give as much vapour as the above suggestion. For maximum nicotine, chose an eliquid that is made at either 24 or 35 mg/ml (that's milligrams of nicotine per mililitre of e liquid).

Duality - I can't actually believe there's a blue Drum flavour! I'm going to have to start here and work from there!

Brian123456 - thanks for the advice - I'll let you all know how I get on with the Drum - there will probably be some more questions after that - big thanks to all for the quick replies!

If the blue Drum flavour doesn't do it for you, try a sample bottle of Guevara from House Of Liquids, closest to full-strength Drum that I have tried, at 18mg nic.

Anytime! Stick around and don't hesitate to ask if you find your self with more questions. :)
