Fake Charger

Kinda funny. Bought a Nitecore NEW i4 a while ago but never really used it coz I bought an XTAR VC4 pretty much right after. After all this song and dance and seeing how many people have been buying the Nitecore I dug it out to see what all the fuss is about. My opinion hasn't changed. Still prefer the XTAR. Although I do wish the XTAR came with a plug and not just a USB socket. Nitecore wins on that one but in every other respect I prefer the XTAR. I love the display.

Just validated my Nitecore a few minutes ago. Can't find a validation code on the XTAR.

That's why I prefer the vp4 over the vc4 as it has a 3 pin plug. Still use my gyrfalcon more though.

Never heard of the gyrfalcon until this thread. The 8 bay looks rather sexy. There's a pefect spot right on my desk where it would look AMAZING.

It is a good one mate. The thing that drew me to it was it chargers 8 cells all at 1 amp. BTW. I can't find any authentication code's on my xtar chargers either. They obviously don't give them !

Not on mine. Be AMAZED if it was a fake tho. Too flawless.

On a side note; the Nitecore gets MUCH hotter than the Xtar vc4.

But we're getting off topic.
