Fasttech payment problems

10 days ago I tried to order a mod from them for £32.08, but when I entered my Visa card details I got your bank has not authorised the payment message, rather stupidly I made 2 more attempts and got the same none authorisation message each time so gave in.


4 days ago I noticed 3 payments of £32.08 had been taken from my account, then checking my Fasttech account saw that there were no items in my orders section, nor had I had any emails sent to me.


This is a copy of my conversation with them so far :-

I tried to order an item 3 times on the 21 October each time when I used my Visa debit card it told me that my bank did not authorise the payment. when I look at my bank account the money has been taken, this is copied from my bank transactions.

The 3 duplicate orders C102045612, B102083027 and B102079203 have been shipped out on October 28th when we saw your email. We will contact our shipping carrier to see if they could return 2 of them and get back to you soon.


We thought that the problems may be caused by the network delay of the payment service provider. We have reported the problems to our related department. If you have the same problem next time, please contact us to check the payment first. Thank you.


We sincerely apologize for all trouble brought to you.

It's a pity that the 3 orders have been left China, we can't stop them. Would you please keep another 2 orders? We'd like to offer a 10% discount. If you have other ideas, please let us know.

Your website told me that the payments were not accepted on each of my three attempts to make a payment, saying that my bank had not authorized the payment, this is your website at fault not me or my bank.


If the three orders had been accepted by you why did I not receive any order confirmation emails as I have with all orders from you in the past?


I have no need for three of these items and I cannot afford to lose £64.16 because your website has/had a fault. I want you to return £64.16 to my bank account and believe that is your moral responsibility to do so.

Bit of a ramble on but I'm a bit pissed off !
 
wow thats just bad so know you are 64 notes short& they are washing there hands of the matter ? one reason i gave up with them....

Aaaaaargh! Might be worth contacting your bank and telling them as well, see if any can be cancelled. Good luck. :)

Yes especially if bought with a visa or credit card. But play on it with them . Tell them your going to open up a fraud claim with your bank see if that shakes them a bit.
But at worse I’m sure you’ll get some takers in the potv classifieds
 
If contacting the bank doesn't work looks like you may have to return two of them and then get a refund when they get them back pretty shit way to run a company
 
I would advise you to start a separate thread on the Fasttech forum about this issue (and note it for the attention of Anniepan), it may motivate them to get their finger out if all of their own customers are made aware of this issue.

Asking if you could just accept buying all three and take up an offer of buying more stuff at a discount is just adding insult to injury
 
Tried a few days ago, was told to try dealing with FT first and if no luck get back to them.
Keep trying with FT - it's in their DNA to keep making stupid offers, but (in my experience) if you persevere and keep refusing they do usually back down.
 
£100 is quite cheap for a camel ;)

Yes that sounds good I'll try that tommorow if I don't get a possative responce from FT.
