When i was DL vaping it was the Aromamizer Plus and i still have 3 of them and wouldn't get shot of them in csae I go back to it, love those tanks, but my days of filling the entire house with a haze seemed increasingly selfish with the kids and all, and i can't be arsed to go outside.

For MTL its the Kayfun Prime. I can keep this tank performing to a consistently high standard, fast to clean and wick, and has never leaked. Been running them a while now. Have 2 gen and 2 clones. Wouldn't change it, my chasing after the next best tank quest is over. I Have a GP Heron, an Ubertoot, a Rose and an EVL Reaper to play with further should i get bored, can't see me needing to buy another MTL tank ever. Maybe a preowned for spares in the classies, although i already have spare parts. I've bought one of the Gens from the classies clearly not everyone got one with the Prime but i'm a happy camper.

I'm basically there, i've arrived, it was a long journey with many disappontments. Jeez the Kayfun-4 was a trip. I have a lifetime supply of nic base in the freezer purchased just before the law changed and i have all day vape flavours that i'm happy with. I suppose i could say it took about 12 years to get to this point.

Have you 'arrived'? Or are you still looking for the next best tank?

I feel I have arrived when it comes to rta's. I've been using a taifun gtv daily for over a year now and for me it's miles ahead of any of the other dozens and dozens of rta's I've frittered a huge amount of cash on over the years. I've still to arrive on an rda that I can say the same for although having recently purchased a reload S Pro RDA I'm beginning to think this is the one. Too early to say for sure but it's better than any other so far. Juice is a completely different thing though. I've been DIYing for a good few years but can't say I've ever produced anything that is perfect or even near it. Some are really good but I get bored of them after a while so they're obviously not magnificent. I may never get there with juice but one thing I do know is I'll never buy any pre made juice so I suppose that's a little bit of a victory.

Wow I wished I was at your point. I've been vaping 10 years and still find it hard to resist new gear. I did take a photo earlier off all my bit and bobs, The thing is I'm a hoarder and find it hard to get rid of stuff. Plus I like to change what I'm using regularly.

Hmm resisting the temptation to buy new stuff is a challenge. Unfortunately I get through mods at a rate - lost, failed and ruined in the washing machine lol darent buy an expensive one

I went off RDAs as the flavour changes as the wick becomes less saturated. I was much happier with RDTAs which had a consistently high quality vape and much less faff factor. Why is the Taifun GTV better than its predecessors would you say?

The airflow suits my style of vaping perfectly and I prefer single coil atties. It's the easiest rta to wick so long as you leave the tails long enough. You don't need to faff about fluffing the wick either. I just cut it to length and give it a little trim on top and it keeps up with 70/30 with ease. The filling is simple as well. No need to remove any caps, just twist and fill. It never leaks so long as your wick is long enough to cover the juice well ports. Flavour is immense as well. They're a bit pricey but worth it in my opinion. I bought a clone from Ali express initially and it was so good I decided to splash out on a real one. I've even bought a second real one as a back up.
I've tried a few rdta's but have never found one I was happy with. I'm sure there's a good one out there but I'm happy as I am and have spent enough on my habit so won't be trialing any more. As for all in ones I'm not even going to begin going down that seemingly endless rabbit hole.

When it comes to mods I consider them to be nothing more than a power supply so I never spend more than £20 or £30 on mods. I never use TC and all the other fancy features are wasted on me.

Agreed re mods. I get whatever aegis solo is cheapest as they have half a chance of surviving the rigours, many haven't. I also don't bother with TC. VW with kanthal was never broke for me so i didn't fix it. AIO mods - needy high maintenance little buggers and reinventing the wheel in a tiny enclosure, couldn't wait to get rid of it. Had a look on Aliexpress at the GTV and was vaguely tempted but was drawin to the 5ml Prime clone more lol (says the bloke who said above he never needs to buy another tank lols)

The Kayfun Prime was my second RTA back in 2019. It’s a love-or-hate atomizer—unfortunately for me, despite its excellent draw and zero leaks, I never managed to truly enjoy it.

Especially for MTL vaping, fewer and fewer atomizers are being released. In Italy, over the past few years, there has been a real cult of rediscovering old atomizers (for us, the Kayfun 3.1 is still absolutely valid). So it’s hard to say we’ve "arrived," especially with shops like AliExpress tempting us with low-cost atomizers waiting to be explored.
I’ve often been tempted by the GT V myself—SmokerStore is revered here for their GTR.

I rotate through all the atomizers I have—some for 4 or 5 tanks, others just once a year. Each one of them is a piece of my journey as a vaper.
