Finishing a hybrid mod

Just a wondering question here, but what's the best way to polish up a hybrid blank?

I'm in the end stages of a mod that's been... Awkward and while giving it a bit of a sanding last night to start with I'm at a nice smooth matt finish (not sure if I want to take it away really)

But at the same time I know how great it would look polished up

Usually I would have kept at the sanding but turns out I have nothing higher than 600 grit to hand so stopped for now

Yeah just finished it up this morning

Needs a few fine touches to be fully done but nothing major compared to what I went through

It has been "finished" once only to have a mini disaster that had me need to completely rebuild

Will be putting up some pics later
