Hi Guys Gals and Apes,

My Omega clone turned up yesterday so i coiled her last night

.7 ohm with 3 coil x 2 .5 x 1 ribbon kathal.

took 4 big toots had to have a sit down some serious nic rush lol

For the basis i am away i think its just a juice ratio tweek and wicking that i need to look at

There's a good number of omega users around so maybe someone will chip in but i thought it was best served with the coils at a kind of 45 degree(ish) angle to help catch the air flow under the coil. It's a slightly different atty to some other 3 post drippers.

I'm sat here sucking on an igo w that was running 0.35mm round wire in dual coil at 0.3 ohms and 13mg nicotine, fought for a couple hours to trap some 1mm x 0.05 ribbon under the bastard screws, soaked the voodoo 4mm wicks with the same juice I've been vaping all day and despite now being on 0.5 ohms, I got a major thump in the head and had to mix an 8mg juice for my evening vaping. That has really confused me, how the hell can my adv juice bite me with a lower resistance setup, just by using ribbon?

Certainly makes a difference. I've found that just by using better quality gear i get the same effect, gonna be trying to cut my nic level now by a couple of notches. That's still near the 1ohm mark too so i'm not surprised you got a nic hit at .3ohm.

Getting back to the topic of this thread, that was my omega atty & the one & only build i did in it sent my head spinning.
