Afternoon Apes,

I'm planning on giving this squonking game a try.

Don't really want a single battery mod, so looking at a Dripbox 160, Geek Vape Gbox S100, or anything else that you can recommend?

I've seen the Dripbox kit for £35, which seems like a reasonable price to get me started.

Any other suggestions for a better dual-battery mod?

i would say get a drip box and replace the top cap like i did to a wide bore as it changes the airflow and improves flavour massively!

To be honest i don't use the standard drip box rda as the deck is so small! i recommend finding another rda which you can put a squonk pin in once you know weather you like it or not, just make sure you cotton it correctly so the juice can feed to the cotton freely, not much to go wrong :)

I don't think I'll dislike squonking. I work from home and use a dripper most of the time, unless I'm out and about.

I've already ordered a squonk pin for my Goon, which is my fave RDA. I'm aware it'll overhang a tad on a Dripbox, but I can live with that for a bit while I try it.

brilliant stuff @erdodog sounds like you are all set, it a tad shame about the over hang but it defiantly worth the benefits it will bring using a better RDA

+1 for the Dripbox 160 and +100 for getting a new atty for it (i rate it as the worst rda I've tried for flavour).

I bought an aromamizer v-rda which comes with a bottom feed pin, has top airflow so it doesn't leak and is a cracking vape for about 30 quid. It is a 25mm rda though so it will overhang a little.

If I remember correctly M-vapes do some squonk-ready wotofo rdas for a decent price and Provapes have some nice clone rdas such as the hadaly, nar da and o-atty.

As for the device, the quality isn't brilliant but you get what you pay for, it works well and imo it's worth the price tag (I paid 50 for mine and I think it was worth it). You'd be hard pressed to find a better entry device for that price, just dont expect a high quality board with bells and whistles.

@playtimesover thanks for the info on Provapes. It's a vendor I've never used before, but will check out the squonk-ready RDA's they have.

I only really use wattage mode, never really got on with TC, so if it can do that ok it should be alright.

I've bought a Kayfun 5 clone from them a few months back, service was very good and postage was quick. It's more pricey than ordering from FT of course but then you get it in a few days.

You should be good with the device then, TC is honestly shockingly bad on the device but other than that it works very well and has decent capacity.

Let us know how you get on [emoji106]

Made that rda from the worst to the best..... get a big o ring from the sapor dripper, get the top cap from a limitless rda and swap the seal and it fits tightly onto the standard drip box rda... with the wide bore and machine cone going into the chimney it improves airflow and flavour 10 fold .... the only problem is you have to have 3 attys in total and destroy 2 in the process so i don't recommend it but it does work and does make the rda as good as the rest ...

That is a LOT of commitment to making an RDA work! I didn't have patience and slung it in a drawer instead!

LOL. That is a lot of commitment, not sure I'd have the patience to do that..
