First squonk mod - advice needed

LOL. That is a lot of commitment, not sure I'd have the patience to do that..
I keep my tsunami 24 on top of mine. It's fantastic with micro coils up to ridiculous sized aliens. The goon is great too. But the tsunami with a couple of standard 26awg kanthal coils at 0.4 gives me a cracking warm flavoufull vape at 50w and doesn't completely fog up the room. (One vape with s,steel flaptons at 110w can fog our front room for ages).

Is it even worth trying the Kanger RDA that comes with the Dripbox?
I gave the original a go. But it was awful at first. Plenty of cloud but no flavour. Nichrome coils improved things but nowhere near as good as a decent rda. The twisted messes with a goon lp squonk pin is also very good. Looks smart on top too.

I bought an aromamizer v-rda which comes with a bottom feed pin, has top airflow so it doesn't leak and is a cracking vape for about 30 quid.
@erdodog sorry I'm not trying to spam your thread but just have one question for @playtimesover. My partner has the Dripbox 160 and has the tsunami 24 on it. It overhangs but because the tsunami is a bottom airflow device, he seems to be getting a juice buildup in the cracks around the top of the mod. I have probably answered my own question but would that be why it's got the juice buildup due to the bottom airflow?

No worries buddy.

That sounds very likely. I don't have any experience with the tsunami but with bottom airflow rdas in general, make sure the wicking is not touching/covering the airflow holes otherwise liquid will leak out. And most importantly don't overdrip/ oversquonk or you are gonna get juice on your mod.

Cheers buddy, I reckon it is because it's bottom air flow as the other things you mentioned are fine

Even if it is bottom airflow, there should be no leaking unless you are over-squonking. Maybe a little more wicking material and more careful sqounking will stop it.
